Welcome

Viv Albertine (my current hero) starts her autobiography like this: “Anyone who writes an autobiography is either a twat or broke.”

I’m not broke so I guess that makes me a twat.

Viv Albertine spent fierce, semi-feral years epicentrically positioned in the parturition* of punk in London. Meanwhile I went to college and became a library clerk. Hence the title of my autobiography:

Sorry I’m Not More Interesting.

I’ll try to make up for it in other ways. I’ll try to keep you amused. (You know that song where Kurt Cobain sings, “I wish I was like you, easily amused?” Well I am, and always have been, easily amused. Hopefully you’ll come to appreciate it…)

*Parturition! Nice word eh? Bit snobby, a too-fancy word for birth, but it gives a nice alliteration, so let’s keep it. Always good to come across a new word, right?
